Signs of the End

Signs of the End

How can we know about the last days from the Bible? When most people think of last-day prophecy, they think of Revelation. But the truth is, Old Testament prophets wrote about the last days of earth’s history too—along with Jesus, Paul the Apostle, and John the Revelator.

Some of the signs of the end include:

- The rise of false prophets

- Wars and rumors of wars

- Increase in violence

- Famines and pestilences

- Earthquakes all around the world

- Mass worldwide immorality

- Increase in knowledge and travel

But are we really living in the final days of earth’s history? Haven’t most of these predictions taken place since the beginning of time? Haven’t so-called prophets predicated date after date for Jesus’ return and been wrong and wrong again and again.

What does the Bible have to say about our troubling times? Are these calamities just capricious outbreaks of disorganized, unregulated forces of nature, wholly beyond the control of man? Or is there a greater purpose in them all?

We promise you that we won’t set a date—the Bible says that no one knows the day or the hour. But it does give us a guidebook, and that’s what we’ll explore this evening.

You will discover the plain truth during this presentation. It’s going to be an exciting event that will not only get you prepared to face the end of the world, but it will also give you hope and peace in a world that’s spinning faster and faster out of control.
